about
** The money raised from the sale of this song will go towards Stephanie's funeral expenses. Thank you for your love and support.**
Stephanie Alvarado was born August of 1983 and raised in Nowark, California.
Her talent was recognized at the tender age of 6 when a local band leader, Sebatian Juarez, heard her sing "Angel Baby" at a family function and without hesitation he invited her to sing at all his gigs. Her loving family encouraged her to develop her immense voice by taking her to all her performances and supporting her young career. She continue to perform in her local area in talent shows, community events and church functions.
In her teens she was managed by Isreal Cortez who helped groom her career and connect her to musicians and producers.
Stephanie's soulful sultry voice has been heard by many in her home town and has taken her on tours throughout Asia and parts of Europe. She's also performed for the USO Tour in Baghdad for the United States troops. She's shared the stage with groups such as, Malo, Brenton Wood, Tierra, Rocky Padilla, El Chicano and Teena Marie. Her voice is also featured on a new song "Hideaway" by Opra that will be released worldwide in summer 2017.
Her untimely medical condition forced her to stop her singing career to focus on her health. Unfortunately she lost her battle with cancer on May 15, 2017, leaving behind a loving family and young children. She gained strength from her strong belief in God, the support of her family, friends and fans. The stage of life was hers, and she stood front and center claiming Victory.
lyrics
VICTORY
It’s easy to give up
Rather than face the truth
And live in denial
When the world’s collapsed around you
I’ll take on each challenge
With my head held high
I won’t back down gonna put up a fight
For the things that matter in my life
I will stand though my knees are weak
Won’t lose hope no thoughts of defeat
All ain’t lost while I live and breath
Cause I got it in me
I know I will claim
Victory
I see the future
I feel it with all my heart
Just like a compass
It guides when time gets hard
I’ll take on each challenge
With my head held high
I won’t back down gonna put up a fight
For the things that matter in my life
I will stand though my knees are weak
Won’t lose hope no thoughts of defeat
All ain’t lost while I live and breath
Cause I got it in me
I know I will claim
Victory
